Good afternoon and welcome to the volunteer information section of the Aln Valley Railway Society website.
There are three main sites where work is been undertaken:

We strongly advise that you wear work clothing, steel toe-capped Wellingtons, and gloves, and also bring a good packed lunch.
An e-group is also in operation to help keep volunteers updated on plans and events. To join the group, please e-mail baz-shell@northumbria-rail-group.org.uk with your details so you can be sent an invitation to join.
